Sometimes it is unclear how much of a difference a small donation can make in a person's life. Supporters like you help to transform the lives of our clients and enhance the quality of life for our community. Please help Recovery Resources continue to make a difference for those troubled by mental illness, alcoholism, drug and other addictions.
Recovery Resources is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and 100% of your contribution is tax-deductible as allowed by law.
Mary Coleman described her late husband, Casey, as “a great man who loved helping others through his work at Recovery Resources.” Her faint smile could not conceal the whisper of tears in her eyes as she lovingly spoke of him. It was obvious that she had lost an incredibly special man who made a significant imprint on the hearts and lives of many.
His story of hope, recorded soon after learning of his terminal diagnosis, continues to inspire men and women from all walks of life. His “last lead” speaks of his fight with an insidious disease and the daily battles that take place on the recovery journey. Thousands of people searching for answers have found comfort in Casey’s story. As he made crystal clear, alcoholism does not discriminate; no one is immune to the devastation of this illness.
It was his work in recovery that fed his soul. He felt strongly that all people should have a chance to conquer their addictions; therefore, proceeds from Casey’s fund will enable men and women without financial means to receive the excellent treatment they need and deserve from Recovery Resources. Please consider a contribution to continue the legacy of Casey Coleman - a triumphant man, whose passion was leading people towards the path to recovery.
The Recovery Resources Board and staff can think of no better way to honor Helen’s memory than to establish a memorial fund in her name that promotes women’s issues. The Helen K. Jones Endowment Fund for Women will affirm and support the health of women in the workplace, in the home, and in our community …whatever their circumstance or situation.
Throughout her career, Helen demonstrated time and again how the power of one woman can impact thousands of lives and touch hundreds of families. It is our hope that this endowment will inspire everyone in our community to celebrate her life by uniting their collective voice and energy to increase awareness, transform lives and effect meaningful and long-lasting change in our society.
